UFRPE Graduate Programs unite to promote the Research Meeting in Education (EPEDuc). In its third edition, the event is led by the Research Committee of the Department of Education (DEd/UFRPE). The event will be held from August 28 to 29, 2019. This edition’s program will cover various forms of research production, providing space for scientific initiation (in different modalities such as PIBIC, PIC, BIA, PIBID, and Monitoring) as well as for postgraduate researchers.
Three Graduate Programs are part of the event: Education, Cultures and Identities; Science and Mathematics Teaching; and Rural Extension and Local Development. The central theme for this edition is “Popular Education, Agroecology, and Sustainability.” The goal of the event is to contribute to the construction of a collective project for the production and dissemination of knowledge. According to the organizers, the times of political uncertainty and democratic fragility, along with the intensification of human rights violations, have led the collective to publicly reaffirm its commitment to "the fight in defense of life."
