About Professor Dr. Francislê Neri de Souza:
Francislê Neri de Souza holds a postdoctoral degree in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) applied to Science Education (2008), a PhD in Science Education (2006) with an emphasis on Chemistry Education, a Master's degree in Computational Quantum Chemistry (1998), and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (1995). He currently works as a researcher at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, where he also supervises Master's and Doctoral students in his areas of expertise. He is a speaker on various topics, especially qualitative and quantitative methodologies using software. He is one of the authors of the qualitative analysis software – WebQDA®; research project management and supervision software – IARS®; questioning and argumentation skills software – ArguQuest®; and cognitive flexibility theory – FlexQuest®. He is a member of the Center for Research in Didactics and Technology in Teacher Training (CIDTFF). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Internet Latent Corpus Journal. He is also the author of articles, reports, books, and book chapters in the fields of active learning, questioning, research methodology, Chemistry Education, and ICT.
