The Strategic Planning of PPGEC is aligned with the strategic plan of UFRPE and was developed through coordinated efforts by the University's Pro-Rectorates for Graduate Studies and for Strategic Planning and Management. UFRPE’s institutional actions aimed to provide tools capable of generating knowledge and guiding the main strategies and objectives to be adopted by Graduate Programs in the years following 2021, based on reformulated and updated strategic principles such as Organizational Identity, Institutional Diagnosis, Objectives, and Action Plans.
At PPGEC, a Strategic Planning Committee was established, and through extensive dialogue with the Program’s academic community, seven STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES were defined, covering priority issues aimed at ensuring the Program’s excellence: Infrastructure, Program Proposal, Strategic Planning and Management, Scientific Production, Faculty, Students and Alumni, and Internationalization. These objectives are:
- Improve the Program’s infrastructure.
- Review and update the Program Proposal.
- Strengthen collegial and collaborative management.
- Support and encourage scientific production within the Program.
- Promote faculty qualification.
- Foster interaction between students and alumni.
- Increase the level of internationalization.
For each objective, actions and goals were planned, with assigned deadlines and responsible parties.
